PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe will not extend his contract at the club. Mbappe’s contract ends at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season, although PSG may sell the 24-year-old this summer if they don’t want to let him depart for free. The talks to renew Mbappe’s PSG contract are still going on. The three-year contract that Mbappe signed last summer was really divided into a two-year agreement with an additional year’s option, it was revealed last month. “It looks like the usual soap opera involving Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid has started once again. What specifically about the letter has irritated the club the most considering that it was distributed to the media before the club,” Kaveh Solhekol said after reports suggested Kylian Mbappe will not sign a contract extension at PSG. “If he doesn’t sign a one-year contract extension with PSG, his current deal will expire in the summer of 2019 and he will be free to go. That is something that PSG will not allow. According to what I’ve been told, he won’t be let to go without paying. He might, of course, be sold this summer as a result, and if he doesn’t sign a new contract or an extension of his existing one, PSG will likely sell him this summer.”
“His conceivable new deal has been discussed, and according to PSG, those talks are going well. According to reports, the talks,” he added. “In terms of wealth, numerous Premier League sides are richer than Real Madrid, and many of them have long outspent all other European clubs. Many teams in the Premier League, such as Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United (if they obtain new owners), might afford to buy him and compete with Real in a bidding war. Furthermore, he has ties to Liverpool from the past.”
