Despite losing out on the Ligue 1 title, Kylian Mbappe will “100%” remain at Paris Saint-Germain, according to president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
PSG won 0-2 at Brest on Sunday, but it was not enough to prevent Lille from claiming a legendary title victory, as the underdogs won 1-2 at Angers.
PSG has struggled in the Champions League, losing 4-1 on aggregate to Manchester City in the semi-finals, and Mbappé has been linked with a move away from the club after finishing top scorer in Ligue 1 for the third straight season.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Mbappé, who has only over a year left on his deal. When speaking with Canal + about the situation, Al-Khelaifi was adamant about the 22-year-future. old’s
Al Khelaifi On Kylian Mbappe
“Kylian is and will remain a PSG player in my opinion. I’m not concerned. Don’t be concerned; we’ll get to work. Mbappé was born and raised in Paris. He’s French, he’s from Paris, he’s on a lease, and he wants to stay for good. He has no intention of leaving. We are not obstructed in any way. We’re still very cool and happy,” he said.

Mbappé not only had the most goals (27) but also had the most shots on target (55), as well as seven assists and nine Opta-defined ‘major chances’ in the Premier League. Mbappé also had a 60.53 percent big-chance conversion rate and provided 33 opportunities for his teammates. He became the first player to win the top scorer award for three consecutive seasons since Jean-Pierre Papin won five times between 1987-88 and 1991-92.
Mbappé, for one, expressed his support for the club while still challenging the PSG leadership to reach the transfer market.
He said, “I can’t tell what needs to be done because I’m just a player. I believe that people have noticed, that everybody has seen. It’s easier to draw conclusions where everyone can see, but that’s not a concern. We lost the championship, but we must now focus on the future. Everyone knows how much I care for the club. I’ve always been grateful to the president and my many coaches. What I want is to win, to feel like I’m in a position to win. To be surrounded by a strong project. The football project is extremely important.”
