Real Madrid are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham and PSG forward Kylian Mbappe in the summer. Bellingham was the subject of advanced negotiations, but no formal offer has been made for the 19-year-old midfielder as of yet. The three-year agreement Mbappe signed last summer is confirmed to be divided into a two-year term with an additional year’s option. The additional year is a player option, thus Mbappe has the choice of whether to exercise it or not. Mbappe is currently approaching the last year of his contract. Before PSG persuaded him to prolong last year, he was in a comparable situation. Mbappe has the option to sign a pre-contract with a team outside of France in January if he does not use the additional year.
Real Madrid is looking for a left-back as well and has long had a fascination with Canadian international Davies. The 22-year-old, though, has been dubbed “unsellable,” and Bayern is eager to sign him to a new deal. The summer of 2025 marks the end of his present contract. Eduardo Camavinga, a midfielder for Real, is frequently used in place of Ferland Mendy at left-back. Only 15 La Liga games this season have seen Mendy start, and he hasn’t participated in the Champions League since November. Real is rumored to be open to summertime bids for him.
“Liverpool almost dropped out of the competition because they anticipated Jude Bellingham may sign with Real Madrid. Bellingham wants to challenge himself, put himself through new experiences, learn new languages, and play for prestigious clubs, which is evident by his decision to move to Germany. You cannot stop him from joining Real Madrid because it is a fantastic team. Everything about it is steeped in tradition and history,” former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock said. “I believe it’s a wonderful decision when you consider the guys who have come before and what it’s all about. I genuinely would want to see him at Liverpool. Thoughts such, as “What a brilliant move for such a young player to go to such a huge club” come to mind when you consider the transfer.”
