Eden Hazard, a Real Madrid midfielder, may have surgery in the coming weeks.
According to Marca, the Belgian continues to have issues with his ankle, which may be the source of all of the player’s recent muscle injuries. Danger may need surgery to recover from his injury.
The player’s entourage is now speaking with the club about the situation and insisting on an operation.
Real Madrid will almost certainly consent to such a move. The danger is likely to miss the remainder of the season if the procedure is carried out. His inclusion in Euro 2020 would be debatable as well.
Hazard has been in persistent pain in his ankle since undergoing surgery in Dallas in March 2020 for an injury suffered in a 2-2 draw with PSG on November 26, 2019.
The club then tried traditional approaches to treat the injury, but they were unsuccessful. Hazard was then taken to the hospital for surgery. In recent weeks, the midfielder’s ankle pain has worsened.
The Belgian has a lumbar muscle injury and will be out for around a month.
Hazard has now lost 320 days at Real Madrid, taking into account fractures and a coronavirus infection last autumn.
