PSG and Lille have reached the 16th round of the French Cup finals, after Monaco, Marseille, and Lyon. PSG beat Caen 1-0 away, and Lille beat Dijon, also as a guest, with an identical score. With a goal by Moise Kean in the 49th minute, the reigning French champion and cup winner beat second division side, Caen.
Lille celebrated with a 1-0, and in the 16th minute, Aguibou Camara scored the goal of the decision. Monaco, led by Croatian expert Niko Kovač, won the 16th final after beating Grenoble 1-0 away in the second division.
Stevan Jovetić scored the winning goal in the 36th minute. It was the eighth consecutive win in all competitions for the Principality team.
Next is Marseille, which on the road beat Auxerre’s second division side 2-0. For OM, both Benedetto (54) and Dieng (90 + 4) scored.
Toulouse’s second division, who beat Bordeaux 2-0 on the road, prepared for the surprise. For the second-placed team in Ligue 2, Bayo (39) and Artiste (57) scored goals. While Montpelier defeated Strasbourg 2-0 as a guest, Lens beat Nantes 4-2 away.
Lyon defeated Ajaccio 5-1 on Tuesday.
