Barcelona is interested in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to Italian news outlet Tutto MercatoWeb. They are looking into the possibility of bringing him to Camp Nou this summer.
Donnarumma made his senior debut for AC Milan in 2015 at the age of 16 and is on his way to becoming one of Europe’s best goalkeepers. His contract with the Italian heavyweights, though, ends in June, making him one of the most talked-about transfer targets.
Following the signing of Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan by AC Milan, superagent Mino Raiola is said to have given Barcelona the chance to sign Donnarumma for free this summer. According to reports coming out of Italy, Barcelona has conducted favorable negotiations about the transfer and is prepared to pay the Italian goalkeeper €10 million a year.

Donnarumma, who is 22 years old and has a lot of experience, matches the Barcelona profile and may perhaps replace Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. The current Barcelona goalkeeper is being linked with a return to his homeland of Germany.
Ter Stegen’s leaving speculations have been debunked by transfer newcomer Fabrizio Romano, who claims the German international will stay at Barcelona this summer.
“Marc ter Stegen will not leave Barcelona this summer,” Fabrizio wrote on his official Twitter account. He’s staying and hasn’t considered any other options, and BVB is doing the same.”
Donnarumma has made over 250 appearances for AC Milan since bursting into the spotlight in 2015. His outstanding performances in goal for the Rossoneri have piqued the interest of several prominent European teams, who are hoping to sign him for free.
Despite having a world-class goalkeeper in Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Barcelona is said to be the front runner for Donnarumma’s signing.

Donnarumma recorded 14 clean sheets in 37 league games for AC Milan. He was important in the club’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League. With Donnarumma’s age, talent, and skill set, signing him on a free transfer will be a great move for Barcelona. Barcelona is presently in financial trouble.
Donnarumma has also been linked with a transfer to Juventus. Juventus are looking for a replacement for Buffon, who is retiring.
