The teenager who has accused Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy of rape asked for the number of Jack Grealish hours after the alleged assault. The lady claimed that on August 23, 2016, while at Mendy’s Cheshire mansion for an “after-party,” which was attended by Grealish and others, the 28-year-old Frenchman Mendy, as well as Mendy’s friend and co-accused Louis Saha Matturie, 41, twice raped her.
Both defendants deny assaulting the young woman in a sexual manner. Chester Crown Court was informed that the adolescent claimed she asked Benjamin Mendy for Mr. Grealish’s phone number in order to get in touch with a woman she had seen at the party with Mr. Jack Grealish. When the trial resumed after a three-week break, the jury heard messages the then-17-year-old texted to pals after leaving the party following the alleged rapes.
The young woman reportedly started to worry about what her boyfriend would say if he learned that night that she had sex with two men, that she supposedly got “carried away,” and that she claimed she had been raped. The adolescent and other young women visited Manchester’s China White nightclub before going to Mendy’s Cheshire home, the trial heard. She asserts that Mendy sexually assaulted her twice at the residence in the trophy and office rooms and that Matturie did the same to her in the cinema room and afterward at his flat close to Manchester’s downtown.
The day following the party, the child left “excitable” voicemails for her friends in a Snapchat group, which the jury has already heard about. Mendy denies the accusations of seven rape instances, one attempted rape, and six sexual assaults on young women. Matturie of Eccles, Salford, is accused of raping six children and denying three counts of sexual assault on seven minors. Both men claim that whatever sexual activity they may have had with women or girls was voluntary.
