Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the club this transfer window after Massimiliano Allegri said he is an outgoing player. Ramsey has made just five appearances for the club this season while playing just 97 minutes in the Serie A. He has struggled with injuries and is not part of the long-term plans of Allegri.
Ramsey has been linked with a move to Everton, Newcastle, and Arsenal. Burnley made a formal approach but was turned down by Ramsey. He joined Juventus in 2019 after his contract at Arsenal expired. He had signed a four-year deal worth £325,000 a week. He has gone on to make just 70 appearances for the Old Lady scoring just six goals.
“Ramsey, he returned today after we had given him a few days off to work, to train separately, in England. In any case, he’s an outgoing player. ” Allegri said about Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
“Morata will not leave, he is a performance footballer. The problem with him is that he is given the wrong label,” he added. “He is very important: I talked to him and I told him not to move from here. Case closed.”
