After the launch of the Fantasy IPL T20, a number of users will be busy setting up their teams before the start of the season. The format of the game will remain the same and once again be powered by Dream 11. Despite most of the rules being the same, there are a couple of new rules put in place this year.
Free Uncapped Transfers
In the game before 2019, an unlimited number of uncapped players could be transferred in. A number of users used this to their advantage. In the current game, one uncapped transfer can be made before every match. This will help the users save their transfers for better players while giving teams more flexibility.
Transfers before every ‘match’ and not ‘Matchday’
This rule pertains to doubleheaders where users can change their team for every match as compared to every matchday last season. Unlike last season where the only deadline was 3.30 pm, this season there will be two deadlines – 3.30 pm and 7.30 pm. This new rule change will require the users to be more proactive as compared to Fantasy IPL T20 last season.
Boosters
- Double Up: The most powerful of the three boosters, this one will allow players to double their total points from one match. It is best to use this booster for fixtures where plenty of players in the Fantasy Team are playing, as it involves the points getting doubled.
- Super Transfers: This booster will allow players to make unlimited transfers to their teams for one match. Playing this booster at the end of the season will yield better returns, as the total number of transfers would be less at that time.
- Triple-Impact: The least powerful of the three boosters, the Triple-Impact will allow players to get 3x points from their captain instead of the usual 2 x
