Kerala Blasters FC announced the contract extension of Adrian Luna for the upcoming Hero Indian Super League season. The Uruguayan was an integral part of their run to the Hero ISL 2021/22 final scoring six goals and registering seven assists. He was handed the captain’s armband thanks to his leadership skills after Jessel Carneiro’s injury. Luna was a fan favorite after his superb performances on the pitch.
“I am thrilled to be part of the Yellow Army and honored to have renewed my contract with KBFC,” Kerala Blasters FC midfielder Adrian Luna said. “My first experience in Kerala has been remarkable and I believe my next two years with the club will be tremendous. I hope to give my best performance in each game and to get the best for the team in the coming season.”
“Adrian fits perfectly in the club and is one of the most valuable players in ISL. He has a great personality and he is a player who brought something special to our team. We are all delighted about his extension,” Kerala Blasters FC head coach Ivan Vukomanovic said.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad FC has completed the signing of right-back Soyal Joshi on a multi-year deal that will keep him with the club until 2025.
“It is definitely a very exciting moment for my professional development to be joining the ISL champions Hyderabad FC,” Joshi said after signing a contract. “I would like to thank Hyderabad FC coaches and management for their trust in me and I am looking forward to joining my new teammates in the preseason.”
