Cristiano Ronaldo scored a late winner as Man Utd completed a remarkable comeback in one of the close football results midweeks in the Champions League. The win reduced the pressure on the head of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a disappointing run. Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral put the visitors ahead in the first half. The hosts came out a much-improved side with Marcus Rashford scoring in the 53rd minute before Harry Maguire drew them level in the 73rd minute. Ronaldo then completed the comeback with a brilliant header in the 81st minute.

Managers Reaction
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer: “The fans are a big part of this club. The singing section there kept the players going with their beliefs. That is what you do at Manchester United on a Champions League night. This corner of the stadium here is the best in the world. There is a bit of time when you are down as a supporter, but you keep going.” he added. “I thought we played well first half too. Two chances, two goals. It had to stop if we are to survive. We have a habit of doing this at this club. I thought we played well, and they scored a goal out of nothing and then another set-piece. But they never stopped believing and kept going.”
