Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is frequently referred to as Tottenham or Spurs. It is a London-based English football team. 10. Alan Gilzean (133 goals)
From 1955 through 1975, Alan Gilzean played professionally for the Scotland national football team. Famous striker Gilzean played for both Dundee and Tottenham Hotspur. In contrast, Dundee won the Scottish League Championship in 1961–1962. Spurs won the UEFA Cup in 1972, two League Cups in 1971 and 1973, the FA Cup in 1967, and two League Cups after he joined the club in 1964. 9. Len Duquemin (134 goals)
Len Duquemin played professional football, and the majority of people are best familiar with him from his time at Tottenham Hotspur. In March 1946, he began playing for the Spurs. He played a significant role in Arthur Rowe’s “push and run” team’s 1951 league title victory. He was referred to as “The Duke.” The first well-known football player from the Channel Islands was Duquemin. In 307 games with the Spurs, he went on to score 134 goals.
8. George Hunt (138 goals)
In June 1930, George Hunt moved from Chesterfield to Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £1,500. For seven seasons, he had good stats. From 1931 to 1933, he had the most goals scored throughout that period. Tottenham earned promotion to the First Division in 1932–1933 after scoring 32 league goals. He scored 138 goals in 198 League and FA Cup games despite his lackluster performance. He comes in seventh but might go up to eighth very quickly because Son is only one goal away from tying the score.
7. Jermain Defoe (143 goals)
In January 2004, Jermain Defoe transferred from West Ham to Tottenham Hotspur. Before being traded to Portsmouth in January 2008 after four years there. Before returning to Tottenham in the January 2009 transfer window, he played one season at Fratton Park. He joined Major League Soccer in 2014 before moving back to England in January 2015 to join Sunderland. He remained with the group until the 2017 Premier League relegation of the group. At the moment, Son Heung-min is a forward for Tottenham Hotspur. His two-footedness, quickness, finishing, and linking play are renowned. Sonny is one of the top attackers in the world and one of the best Asian players. At age 16, Son signed with Hamburger SV, and he made his Bundesliga debut in 2010. He signed with Bayer Leverkusen in 2013 for a then-club-record €10 million. He joined Tottenham for £22 million two years later, making him the most expensive Asian player in history. Son became the most prolific Asian scorer for Tottenham. He was the second Asian starter in the 2019 UEFA Champions League final. 5. Cliff Jones (159 goals)
Cliff Jones once represented Wales in football. He earned 59 caps for his nation while playing as a winger for Wales. He was also a crucial member of the 1960–1961 Tottenham Hotspur squad that won two championships. Jones joined Tottenham Hotspur in February 1958 for a then-record fee of £35,000. He made his debut for his team on February 22, 1958, when they travelled to Highbury to play Arsenal. For a spell with the Spurs, Jones struggled to perform at his peak level. Peter Baker knocked him to the ground in the summer of 1958, breaking his leg. In December 1958, he rejoined the team after recovering.
4. Martin Chivers (174 goals)
Martin Chivers, who was always a member of the England Under-23 squad, took over as Tottenham’s top goal scorer in 1970 after Greaves was transferred to West Ham United. Chivers was a standout for England and Spurs in the early 1970s despite people’s perceptions that he was a sluggish and slothful player. Chivers scored 174 goals while playing 367 times for Tottenham Hotspur’s first squad. Until Jermain Defoe overtook him on November 7, 2013, he held the record for most goals scored in European games for 39 years. Chivers’ final full-team match for England was against Poland in 1973. Chivers helped Spurs reach the UEFA Cup semifinals in 1974 by scoring eight goals in ten games.
3. Bobby Smith (208 goals)
Chelsea transferred him to Tottenham Hotspur in December 1955 for £18,000. Bill Nicholson’s renowned Tottenham squad, which won a double in 1960 and 1961, had Bobby Smith as a vital player. The season he won both cups, Tottenham scored 33 goals in 43 games, including the first of his two goals in the 1961 FA Cup Final. Later, the team won the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1963 and successfully defended the FA Cup in 1962. With 208 goals in 317 appearances, 12 of which were hat-tricks, he is the third-best scorer for the Spurs all-time, after Jimmy Greaves and Harry Kane.

Jimmy Greaves scored 44 goals for England in international tournaments, 266 goals in 379 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, and 357 goals altogether in the history of English top-flight football. More than any other player, he has also scored hat tricks for England. In each of the final six seasons, he was the leading scorer in the First Division. Greaves joined Chelsea in 1957 and took part in the FA Youth Cup final the following year. In just four seasons, he scored 124 First Division goals, and in April 1961, he was traded for £80,000 to the Italian side A.C. Milan.
1. Harry Kane (280 goals)
Harry Kane is a striker for Tottenham Hotspur and the captain of the England squad. Kane’s amazing goal-scoring record and talent for forming attacking combinations have made him one of the top forwards in the world. He is the player with the most goals scored for Tottenham and ranks third all-time in Premier League history. Kane started his career as a professional with Tottenham Hotspur, where he swiftly advanced through the club’s youth system divisions until being called up to the main team in 2009.
Kane scored 31 goals in his first full season with the squad, which ranked second in the Premier League. He also received the PFA Young Player of the Year award. Kane led the league in goals scored in each of the two seasons between 2015 and 2016 when combined. He received the PFA Fans’ Player of the Year award later in the season when Tottenham finished as runners-up.
