Maradona chose to stay with Gymnastics for a year and a half if Antonio Torres wins the Spanish races, Marca states.
The media were dazed by remarks made by Antonio Torres in Spanish soccer at Betevé. At the Royal Spanish Federation decisions Sabadell’s longtime official and lifetime participant, Gimnástico Mercantil y Terrasa, presents himself as a presidential candidate.
Antonio Torres said: “In case I’m the following President of the Spanish Federation, Diego Armando Maradona will be the following coach of Spain for the following two years. He will be the manager of the Qatar World Cup, wanting to reach the final. The best player ever, who has gone right here in Barcelona, will join my team. I talked to Matías Morla, Roberto Trotta, and all of his squad about it. They are exceptionally plain, unobtrusive individuals, and Maradona is profoundly qualified as a coach, and above all, his aptitude is in soccer.”
The conversation between the lawyer and the chairman, who at the time are wagering on turning out to be the leader of the Catalan Federation, will take several months. And the deal would possibly be placed into impact if Torres were ever to win in races.
Diego already has a contract as director of Gimnasia La Plata for the following year and a half.
