Hoffenheim sacked coach Alfred Schreuder four games before the finish of the season over disagreements about how they figured the team will develop, said Tuesday the Bundesliga party. Schreuder, who had a contract till 2022, had arrived from Ajax Amsterdam at the start of the season. His sibling and assistant Dick Schreuder will also leave.
“We had various feelings on important detail issues so the collaboration past the finish of the season didn’t make sense,” said sports director Alexander Rosen in a statement.
Hoffenheim is seventh on 43 focuses and battling for next season’s Europa League spot. Other Club coaches will coordinate the side through the remaining games.
“Unfortunately we couldn’t settle on a shared course for the team’s future. I lament this turn of events, however in your professional life it isn’t unusual to have various conclusions,” Schreuder said.
