According to Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni, Lautaro Martinez should win his place at Barcelona on the off chance that he leaves Inter.
Following his endeavors in Italy, Martinez was tipped to swap Serie A side Inter for La Liga champions Barca in the slow time of year.
The Argentina international forward scored 16 goals in 31 matches in all rivalries before the coronavirus pandemic halted the 2019-20 season.

Scaloni feels it won’t be easy to take Lautaro out of Inter and he’d like Lautaro Martinez to play, to have progression.
In 2018 Martinez swapped Racing Club for Inter and immediately established himself as one of the most looked for after forwards in European football, shaping a solid partnership for the Italian side this season with Romelu Lukaku.
He’s scored a total of 25 goals since joining Inter from Racing Club, with the Italian side currently sitting second behind Juventus in Serie A.
