Inter is reportedly prepared to defend any potential suitors by offering a replacement deal worth €4.5 million a year to Marcelo Brozovic.
Tuttosport claims that Nerazzurri is trying to sign a replacement affect the Croatian midfielder and avoid losing the player thanks to a €60 m release clause in its current contract.
The 27-year-old has been impressed by the Giuseppe Meazza since he arrived from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015 and has drawn the eye of top clubs on the continent.
In October 2018, the defensive player signed a contract worth €3.5 m a year until June 2022, but the arrangement contained a release clause that CEO Beppe Marotta intends to exclude from the bumper deal.
The newspaper writes that Inter is ready to supply Brozovic a replacement €4.5 m deal, which can be binding on him until June 2023.
