Ex referee Claudio Gavillucci has revealed that he has been excused by instant message and tells his colleagues that a transparent framework isn’t guaranteed.
Gavillucci, who directed 50 matches in Series An and another 74 in Italian Football’s subsequent level, hits the Italian Referees’ Association (AIA) in his new book entitled: ‘The Man dressed in Black – The Uncomfortable Referee’s Truth’.
Gavillucci composed his book because the Italian Referees Association dismissed him in a book at the age of 38.
In a meeting with Kiss Radio, he said, “I composed my book because AIA dismissed me in an instant message at 38. I chose to get to the bottom of the case, to understand whether there were the technical reasons behind that choice. “I’ve found a lot of important things including the justification for discrimination. I composed it for the good of my job and my affection for football.
Gavillucci found the hesitancy to open up, and the need to stow away.
