
According to the Premier League club on Thursday, Manchester City defender Eric Garcia was released from hospital after being associated with a crash with goalkeeper Ederson in their 3-0 victory over Arsenal.
Garcia, 19, impacted late in Wednesday’s game with the Brazilian goalkeeper and got treatment several minutes prior to being carried off on a cot and taken to the Royal Infirmary Hospital in Manchester for additional tests.
“Garcia was released from the hospital. He ‘s going to be monitored in the days ahead of arrival to training and serious action. Everyone at the club wishes him an expedient recuperation,” City said in a statement.
Ederson, 26, posted an image of himself and Spain’s Garcia on Twitter on Thursday with the caption “well and back.”
