Jan Vertonghen says that he wants to travel in Europe and learn different languages. He declines to the fact that he had agreed to sign any new deal with Spurs in order to join as a free agent at inter.
The rumors about the extension of the contract with Spurs seem to be false said the Jan Vertonghen who will be turning 33 this Friday. He also added that the contract will be expiring at the end of this season.
In an interview with Sports Kot on Youtube, he said that he wants to sign with the right club. It may be some other club or Spurs itself.
The national team is important to me and I would like to play in Europe. But the club should be ambitious that’s what matters the most.
The HNL writer Kristof Terreur believes that Vertonghen wants to find out the special language, hence Vertonghen had Italy and Spain were among the choices he was watching and the same was acknowledged by the defender.
