Former Liverpool star Jason McAteer claims he’s worried about meeting fans in Anfield to celebrate a Reds crown if the Premier League chooses to stay on home grounds rather than neutral venues.
A lot of dialogue and conversations have been happening about when and the way the restart will happen, with an enormous talk topic being neutral sites. Paul Barber, CEO of Brighton, expressed his opposition to the Premier League’s ‘Plan Restart’ program, saying he believes England will follow the German model by winning reception stadia.

Barber went on to speak about what would make neutral sites better than playing on home fields, but McAteer suggests a return to playing at stadiums like Anfield could contribute to big crowds.
“My concern about Liverpool being so on the brink of winning the championship mathematically right before the lockout was that crowds may have grown up outside of Anfield, particularly if the league had ended up in empty stadiums,” McAteer told gambling.com.
“If Liverpool had won the league in Anfield with nobody inside, 30,000 approximately people would have gathered outside the bottom to celebrate, and at the time we weren’t all conscious of how terrible this example was.”Thirty years everybody was expecting today, everybody was on a high and no-one wanted to miss it all.

There must are tons of individuals heading out on the streets to celebrate.”While we’re all the foremost educated about the virus, it can happen too. But a method to alleviate this problem is to rearrange games in friendly venues, which I can drag .”From a Liverpool point of view, fans would assemble if they began their games at Anfield and took the trophy over there.
Police aren’t willing to. From a security point of view, we will not risk that.” “McAteer agreed that these steps are necessary, but added that he wishes that as little changes as possible might be made.
