Atalanta left-back Robin Gosens has disclosed his ‘youth vision’ of playing in the German Bundesliga for Schalke 04.
The 25-year-old helped La Dea finish fourth in Series An and the Champions League quarter-finals this term, yet the German said that one day he couldn’t imagine anything better than to return home.

“It will be a dream,” he told ZDF. “It is my dream to play in the Bundesliga.
“Maybe it’s not something that will happen at this moment but rather it’s a youth dream of mine to do it with Schalke 04.”
In July 2012, Gosens moved to Holland, leaving Vfl Rhede and transferring to Vitesse Arnhem. In July 2017, the defender was brought to Bergamo for €900,000 after five years in Dutch football and spells at FC Dordrecht and Heracles Almelo.
President Antonio Percassi will presently set a sticker price for his wingback of about €30 m, yet Schalke isn’t required to have the cash to take him away from Orobici on the pending transfer market.
